Inter-harmonic Detection Based on Blind Source Separation Algorithm

The sampling of intermediate harmonics in power system is all asynchronous. IEC gives the calculation method of inter-harmonic group and sub-group under synchronous sampling, but not the method in asynchronous condition. This paper proposes an inter-harmonic measurement method based on independent component analysis. In this paper, firstly, the inter-harmonic model of multi-frequency components is built, the frequency components of the intermediate harmonics are obtained using ICA, and the amplitude and phase angle parameters of inter-harmonics after correction are derived. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can accurately calculate the inter-harmonic components in multifrequency component signals, and overcome the influence of spectrum interference to a certain extent.
