Characterizing site-specific source emissions for EPA's riskassessment tool for the metal finishing industry

This paper describes the development by the EPA/NCEA of a software tool to characterize site-specific source emissions as a means of determining risk assessment for workers and local residents in the metal finishing industry. A companion paper complements these details by showing their overall fit into the risk assessment scheme.
