The invention discloses a turning process of a tapered roller bearing ring. The turning process comprises an outer ring turning process and an inner ring turning process; the inner ring turning process comprises a turning process of an inner ring large flange oil groove; and the turning process of the inner ring large flange oil groove is specifically as follows: the quenched inner ring large flange oil groove is hardly turned; an inner clamping type three-jaw chuck is adopted to clamp an inner ring on a numerical control lathe; a 40-degree V-shaped blade is used for cutting the inner ring large flange oil groove; and in cutting, the rotating speed of a main shaft of the numerical control lathe is 450-480 rad/min, and the feed rate is 0.03-0.05 mm/r. Through the mode, the turning process of the tapered roller bearing inner ring large flange oil groove is simplified; and meanwhile, the cutter wear can be reduced, the size precision and the production efficiency are improved, and the product quality is improved.
