Method for preparing ZL205A alloy containing rare earth elements

2014
The invention discloses a method for preparing a ZL205A alloy containing rare earth elements. The method comprises the following steps: heating a ZL205A alloy to the temperature of 700-720 DEG C for melting, adding a rare-earth intermediate alloy, refining by utilizing a rotating degassing refining method, fluxing, standing for 10-15 minutes, removing the slag, performing casting molding after the slag removal operation is ended, and controlling the discharging temperature of the alloy liquid to be 5-10 DEG C higher than a casting temperature, wherein the rare-earth intermediate alloy refers to an alloy of aluminum and rare-earth elements. Compared with the prior art, the method disclosed by the invention has the following beneficial effects that: 1, the rare-earth intermediate alloy is massive and is very stable, so the ingredients are simple, and the alloy is convenient to store; and 2, the production flow of casting a high-strength aluminum alloy can be simplified and shortened, the preparation cost is reduced, and the method is suitable for mass production.
