Development of a Near-Infrare dE chelle Spectrograph "NICE"

We developed a Near-Infrared Cross-dispersed Echelle spectrograph, "NICE", which covers the wavelength range from 0.9 � mt o 2.4� mw ith four exposures, and has a wavelength resolution of �=i� � 2600 .T hese capabilities enable us to simultaneously evaluate the continuum level and intensity of various lines of a spectrum with high accuracy over a wide wavelength range. Since NICE is designed to be compact, by adopting a "white pupil" configuration and fully refractive lenses, we can carry out observations with small telescopes.
