Accidents vasculaires cérébraux sous érythropoiétine recombinante en l'absence d'hypertension artérielle malignisée

We report 3 observations of seizures in haemodialysis patients treated with recombinant human erythropoietin without hypertensive encephalopathy. CT Scans showed in the 3 cases low-densities within the occipital areas. The 3 patients spontaneously fully recovered. This suggests a thrombotic microvascular mechanism instead of HTA process.
