A software tool for electromagnetic environment modelling

1996
A user-friendly software tool for electromagnetic environment modelling (STEEM) has been developed to provide designers with the data needed to properly shield systems against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Two computational engines are included, one based on analytic expressions of radiated fields, and the other based on a ray tracing algorithm using the uniform theory of diffraction. STEEM is equipped with an AutoCAD interface, making it an easy-to-use, flexible and powerful environment modelling package.
