Betrachtungen zur Anwendbarkeit verschiedener thermodynamischer Modelle zur Beschreibung der Mischungsenthalpie binärer Systeme

In this work the applicability of various thermodynamic models for the description of the mixing enthalpy of binary systems is discussed from theoretical and practical points of view. The relationship of the models and their restrictions are discussed by suitable equations. The adaptability of the models is compared by typical systems concerning the concentration and temperature dependence of the mixing enthalpy, ΔH m , and of the excess heat capacity, C p exc . The regular solution, the subregular solution, the quasichemical and the modified quasichemical model can only be used restrictedly. The regular association model and the thermodynamic adapted power series (TAP) are able to describe the concentration dependence of the mixing enthalpy of every system
