Small waterplane area twin hull structure

2013
The utility model relates to a small waterplane area twin hull structure which comprises two sheet bodies which are arranged symmetrically left and right, wherein the sheet bodies are connected through a connecting bridge. Each sheet body is structurally formed by sequentially connecting a hull side platform, a supporting column body and a diving body. The connecting bridge is of a box type structure and comprises a main deck, and a wet deck is arranged at the lower portion of the main deck. A wedge-shaped prosthesis is installed below the head portion of the wet deck and at the position where is one fourth of the hull length. The small waterplane area twin hull structure is reasonable and convenient to manufacture. Due to the fact that the head portion of the wet deck of a small waterplane area twin hull is generally impacted by waves, the head portion of the wet deck is raised, the free height is increased, and the occurrence frequency of wave impacting can be obviously reduced. The wedge-shaped prosthesis is installed on the wet deck, impacting to a flat board is converted into underwater impacting of the wedge-shaped prosthesis, and as the oblique ascension angle of the wedge-shaped prosthesis is increased, the load of wave impacting is greatly reduced. Based on the principle, the strength of impacting to the wet deck of the small waterplane area twin hull can be greatly reduced, and the occurrence frequency of impacting can be reduced.
