Optical disks, optical disk apparatus, and an optical disc recording method

1999
Abstract: Under the repeated exposure to light, the recording medium is deteriorated due to thermal load. For this reason, recording the number of repetitions is finite. To A disc sector, the first gap region, the first guard data recording area, data recording area composed of the synchronization signal and the user data, a second guard data recording area, the second gap region continuously formed. Here, the first, the length of the second gap region, and the first, the length of the second guard data recording region are randomly varied every recording. First, the amount of change in the second gap region is first smaller than the change amount of the second guard data recording area, the polarity of the guard data, and randomly the polarity of the signal to be recorded every time recorded in the data recording area changes.
