The separation of minor actinoids from lanthanoids, associated with the subsequent deactivation of actinoid nuclei, is the fundamental basis of the Partitioning and Transmutation method, which aims to reduce the radiotoxicity of irradiated nuclear fuel. The chemical similarity of trivalent lanthanoids and actinides greatly complicates the separation process. In the paper, the separation of minor actinoids and lanthanoids by solvent extraction using an O-donor extractant TODGA together with a N-DONOR masking agent BTPhen. In these systems, the effect of the absorbed dose on the separation properties of the tested systems is investigated.
