The Case Study of Smart Home in LH

LH made ‘Smart Home Action Plan’ to develop service element technologies and platform of Smart Home, and is carrying out 32 practical tasks. LH plans to develop and distribute a universal smart home service model that can be extended to 1 million rental housing units. Before that, it is promoting a pilot project for 5,000 public rental housing in Siheung-Eungye. As LH’s inventory of rental housing is expected to increase to more than 2 million units by the next 10 years, it is required how to focus on housing welfare, safety and security services for vulnerable people through smart home technology, and to develop and spread smart home services based on universal housing welfare.
