Term of Reference : Scoping Paper for the Technical Assistance Activities

The development objective of Disaster Risk Management and Resilience Program Project is to strengthen the government of Mozambique's program to finance and prepare for disaster response and to increase the climate resilience of vulnerable education infrastructure in risk prone areas. The main objective of this assignment is to carry-out the preparation of a scoping paper to assess the potential social and environmental downstream impacts of the Technical Assistance (TA) activities associated to the project. The government of Mozambique agreed to prepare the Scoping Paper upon the effectiveness of the program, aiming to ensure that adequate environmental and social considerations are included in the terms of reference of the activities supported by the TA Component. The government of Mozambique aims to hire a consultancy firm to prepare the scoping paper, as specified in this term of reference (TOR).
