Investigaţii morfologice la racul-de-apă-dulce (Astacus leptodactylus) infestat cu Psorospermium haeckeli

The investigations have been made following a surveillance study of the health status of fish and shellfish in the Dâmbovița river, study motivated by an important subject: „The stability of aquatic ecosystem, an important role in maintaining and development of its fauna and flora, the limited capacity of self-cleaning, especially in the intervention of the human factor”. Psorospermiun haeckeli was first described by Haeckel in 1957. From a taxonomic point of view, its place is uncertain, being considered a protozoa, a branch of the animal reign still unknown. It was reported in Europe in the wild crab, as well as the grown one, the present study representing, from the authors knowledge, the first case described in Romania.
