Osteomos ore benign bone tumours most frequently found, obove the neck, in poronosol sinuses. Temporal bane osteomos ore rore ond con be found in ony portion oi the bone. Being commoner in mostoid ond externai ouditory canal (EAC) locotions there ore rorer descriptions oi such lesions within the mid­ dle eor ond internai ouditory canal. When arising in the mostoid portion oi the bone, they are usuolly osymptomotic ond slow growing . Composed of compoct bone, they ore removed mo in· ly for oesthetic purposes. The ones locoted in lhe EAC ore lrequently responsible for conductive deofness os well os lrequent cano I inlections oi difficult solu­ tion. Diognosis is bosed upon rodiologicol findings (CT scons) os well os clinicai ones. Definitive treotment consists on surgery. In the post six months two coses were diognosed ond monoged in our institution. Being rore entities with cli nicai peculior ities they ore here presented. The lirst one concerns o mostoid osteomo. The second one on EAC osteomo cousing o 40- 55 dB conductive deofness solved with surgicol treotment.
