Spin-glass behavior of FexTiS2

1986
Abstract Magnetic properties of polycrystalline Fe x TiS 2 (0 x ⩽ 0.42) are studied. Magnetization and ac-susceptibility measurements show that compounds with x x ≤ 0.42 are ferromagnets. There is an abrupt increase of the width of the Mossbauer spectra for the compound with x = 0.42 ( T c = 88 K) at about 30 K.
