2018
The present work of Conclusion of Course had as objective to identify non formal
spaces in the city of Cha Grande - Pernambuco - Brazil that have potential for the
teaching of Botany. Knowing that it surrounds us and life is essential, developing
alternatives for his teaching to become dynamic is necessary, since his teaching
faces difficulties of assimilation. The research was carried out in the city of Cha
Grande, located in the interior of the state of Pernambuco, encompassing
bibliographical review, survey of existing green areas in the city, description and
location of the areas found and brings some alternatives of botany lesson plans to
be developed in spaces. Through the results it is possible to notice that the
existing simple spaces, often unnoticed, offer the teacher several possibilities to
develop excellent classes by placing the student in direct contact with nature.
Aiming at this, by demonstrating some alternatives, being easy to access,
encourages the teacher to develop classes that arouse the students' curiosity,
causing them to return their vision to the beings who are responsible for the
maintenance of life, the plants.
