The clinical observation of Granisetron to prevent vomiting after appendectomy

Objective:To observe the granisetron to prevent vomiting after appendectomy clinical efficacy.Methods:80 cases of appendicitis surgery were randomly divided into two groups,in pre-operative and preventive surgery,respectively,to observe the operation with the use of granisetron and metoclopramide,which about the incidence of nausea,vomiting and incidence of the number after 24 hours.Results:After 24 hours with nausea,vomiting,the incidence of the use of granisetron group was significantly lower than the use of metoclopramide group(P0.05) ,which had statistical significance.Conclusion:The post-operative patients with appendicitis granisetron significantly reduce postoperative nausea and vomiting incidence after 24 hours.Obviously,the role of traditional medicine is superior to the efficacy of metoclopramide.
