Iron-containing nanoparticles were synthesized by the means of thermal destruction of metal-containing compounds and were immobilized on silica micro granules surface. Also, iron-containing nanoparticles on high porosity silica (fumed silica) surface were prepared by the reduction of water solutions iron salts. The produced composites have been studied by the means of TEM, XRD, EMR. Based on the acquired data we suggest that both methods allow producing monoor multiphase (core-shell) nanoparticles.
