The immune mechanism and the clinical curative effect of tripterygium wilfordii medicinal liquor treatment in rheumatoid arthritis

Objective To Investigate the effect of oral Tripterygium tincture treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) and to study the immune mechanism.Methods 97 RA patients treated with Tripterygium tincture were analyzed.There were 22 males and 67 females patients,aged 18-55 years old,average(43.22 ± 9.50) years;disease history was 1-20 years duration,average(3.98 ± 2.44) years.Every time the thunder god vine tinctures five ml,two times a day,after half a year,treatment and curative effect evaluation research of the immune system.Results Six months after treatment number(t = 23.059),joint pain,swelling number(t = 22.745),tenderness(t = 17.134),20 m,deadlocked of morning of walking time(t = 26.717),(t = 24.191);IgA(t = 4.052) IgG(t = 21.424),IgM(t = 3.548),rheumatoid factor(t = 6.048),blood sedimentation(t = 6.550),C-reactive protein(t = 2.233) was lower(P 0.05).Conclusion Tripterygium wilfordii medicinal liquor can relieve RA symptoms,improve serum immunological indexes.Thus may produce protective mechanisms in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
