Arqueología industrial en mina “La Atala” (Reserva Natural Divisadero Largo, Mendoza)

We present the results obtained in the first season of archaeological work done at the mine site Mina La Atala -MLA-, located in the alluvial basin of the Mendoza foothills called Divisadero. This mining site offers architectural and archaeological evidence for the modes of exploitation of oil shale, as well as the living conditions of its inhabitants.
