Some factors for refusal to participate in nutrition survey

Summary A study was done to determine the causes of poor participation in a nutrition/health survey in a large city in Louisiana and to determine whether a professionally trained interviewer could be more successful than a less skilled interviewer in increasing active participation. Results from the first survey were used in an attempt to improve the participation in the second survey and the attendance for both was compared.
