Aramides wolfi

The brown wood rail (Aramides wolfi) is a species of bird in the family Rallidae. It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, and possibly Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical swamps. It is threatened by habitat loss. The binomial of this bird commemorates the German naturalist Theodor Wolf.
