Sitticus

Sitticus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). In 2016 and 2017, Jerzy Prószyński split the genus Sitticus, creating five new genera: Sittiab, Sittiflor (now Calositticus), Sittilong, Sittipub (now Hypositticus) and Sittisax. Some species were also transferred to the genus Attulus. Sitticus was reduced to less than 40 species. As of September 2017, the World Spider Catalog accepts the following species:
