Hypsibius

Hypsibius is a genus of tardigrades in the class Eutardigrada. The genome of Hypsibius dujardini has been sequenced. Hypsibius dujardini has a compact genome and a generation time of about two weeks. It can be cultured indefinitely and cryopreserved.
