Myxococcaceae

Myxococcaceae is a family of gram-negative, rod-shaped bacteria. It belongs to the suborder Crystobacterineae in order Myxococales and comprise three genera validly described as Myxococcus, Corallococcus, and Pyxidicoccus. The Myxococcaceae family covers the best explored and studied myxobacteria with a wide scope of research.
