Dolbina tancrei

Dolbina tancrei is a species of moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from the Russian Far East, north-eastern China, the Korean Peninsula and Japan. The wingspan is 50–82 mm. It can be distinguished from other Dolbina species by the green wings and body. It differs from most similar species Dolbina exacta by the presence of large black patches and extremely small black dots on the underside of the abdomen. The main distinguishing character however, is the presence of a crescent hook on the aedeagus apex. The abdomen and wings undersides are brownish grey. There are large black mesial patches on the abdomen underside.
