The Ecuadorian piedtail (Phlogophilus hemileucurus) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae.It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.It is becoming rare due to habitat loss.
