Acacia holosericea

Acacia holosericea, is a shrub native to tropical and inland northern Australia. It is commonly known as soapbush wattle or strap wattle. The leaves are ovate-lanceolate, 10–25 cm long and 2–9 cm wide, covered with white silky hairs, with 3 to 4 prominent veins. The flowers are rod-like and bright yellow, 3–5 cm long. The pods are 3–5 cm long and twisted and curled. The seed is edible.
