Pyxicephalus

Pyxicephalus (πυξίς, pyxis = '(round) box,' κεφαλή, kephalē = 'head') is a genus of true frogs from Sub-Saharan Africa, commonly referred to as African bull frogs or bull frogs. There are four recognized species: Pyxicephalus cordofanus Steindachner, 1867 is a nomen dubium.
