Ionic potential

Ionic potential is the ratio of electric charge to the radius of an ion. Ionic potential is the ratio of electric charge to the radius of an ion. As such, the proportion measures the charge density at the surface of the ion; usually the denser the charge, the stronger will be the bond that the ion forms.
