Bathyergus janetta

The Namaqua dune mole-rat (Bathyergus janetta) is a species of rodent in the family Bathyergidae. It is found in Namibia and South Africa. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, caves, and sandy shores.
