Dictyochloropsis

Dictyochloropsis is a genus of green algae of the order Trebouxiales. Species in this genus are characterized by single uninucleate cells, and asexual reproduction takes place by means of naked zoospores with typical insertion of the flagella. Individual species within the genus are distinguished on the basis of chloroplast appearance observed in light- or confocal microscopy.
