Hoplocephalus stephensii

Hoplocephalus stephensii is a species of highly venomous tree snake in the family Elapidae. The species is endemic to Australia. The specific name stephensii, is in honor of Australian academic William John Stephens. H. stephensii is found along the Central East Coast of Australia, north of Sydney. H. stephensii is viviparous.
