Banisteriopsis

Banisteriopsis is a genus of flowering plants in the family Malpighiaceae. There are about 92 species. Most are native to Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. One well-known species is Banisteriopsis caapi, the source of ayahuasca.
