Fimbristylis littoralis

Fimbristylis littoralis, commonly known as lesser fimbry, is a sedge of the family Cyperaceae that is native to Australia. The annual grass-like or herb sedge typically grows to a height of 0.05 to 0.7 metres (0.16 to 2.30 ft) and has a tufted habit. It blooms between February and August and produces green-brown flowers. In Western Australia it is found in swamps, along creeks and rivers and other damp areas in the Kimberley region where it grows in sandy-clay alluvium often around basalt.
