IOPS

Input/output operations per second (IOPS, pronounced eye-ops) is an input/output performance measurement used to characterize computer storage devices like hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD), and storage area networks (SAN). Like benchmarks, IOPS numbers published by storage device manufacturers do not directly relate to real-world application performance. IOPS ∗ TransferSizeInBytes = BytesPerSec {displaystyle { ext{IOPS}}*{ ext{TransferSizeInBytes}}={ ext{BytesPerSec}}} (with the answer typically converted to MegabytesPerSec)(4KB block, random)(64KB block, random)(512KB block, random)303K Random Write(4KB) IOPS Violin XVS 8NVMe over FCXIO G44 ports per controller Input/output operations per second (IOPS, pronounced eye-ops) is an input/output performance measurement used to characterize computer storage devices like hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD), and storage area networks (SAN).
