Campylobacter upsaliensis

Campylobacter upsaliensis is a bacterial species of Campylobacter found in cats and dogs. C. upsaliensis is named after Uppsala, Sweden, where it was first discovered. C. upsaliensis can cause campylobacteriosis, but Campylobacter jejuni, a spiral and comma shaped bacterium normally found in cattle, swine, and birds , where it is nonpathogenic, causes most cases.
