Alcolapia

Alcolapia is a genus of small fishes in the Cichlidae family. Their native range is restricted to margins of the hypersaline, warm (30–42.8 °C or 86–109 °F) Lake Natron and Lake Magadi, as well as similar conditions in nearby hot springs, in Kenya and Tanzania. Two species have been introduced to Lake Nakuru. There are currently four recognized species in this genus:
