Neusticomys

Neusticomys is a genus of semiaquatic South American rodents in the family Cricetidae. The term Neusticomys derives from the two ancient greek words νευστικός (neustikós), meaning 'able to swim', and μῦς (mûs), meaning 'mouse, rat'.
