Biomphalaria

Biomphalaria is a genus of air-breathing freshwater snails, aquatic pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Planorbidae, the ram's horn snails and their allies. Biomphalaria is the type genus of the tribe Biomphalariini. Taphius is a synonym for Biomphalaria.
