Egernia stokesii

The gidgee skink (Egernia stokesii) is a species of skink, a lizard in the family Scincidae. It is also called the gidgee spiny-tailed skink and Stoke's skink. The species is endemic to Australia and is found in the states Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. Four subspecies are recognized:
