Research on Energy Control Strategy of 4WD Hybrid Electric Vehicle Based on Fuzzy Control

For the 4WD hybrid power system, a rule based energy control strategy for engine optimal curve was designed with minimizing fuel consumption as objective. Fuzzy control strategy was proposed using the ratio of the require torque to the engine optimal torque and the battery state of charge (SOC) as the inputs, the best engine torque coefficient as the output. Based on fuzzy rule control strategy were compared with rule based energy control strategy in CRUISE software. The simulation result was shown that engine operating point was according with the target curve in the NEDC cycle. The fuel consumption of fuzzy control algorithm of the vehicle was 5.25 L/100km, the economizing rate increased 4.55%.

The Principle and Application of AC Voltage Withstand Test for GIS without Power Cut

In order to check whether there are defects in GIS (gas-insulation-switchgear), it is necessary to do AC voltage withstand test before putting into operation. According to the standards, when doing AC voltage withstand test after GIS expansion or maintenance, the original neighboring parts should be power cut and grounded. For the double bus substation,it means that the whole substation should be power cut, which will decrease the power supply reliability of the grid and have a tremendous impact on the power grid To solve the problem, this paper presents a new AC voltage withstand test method for GIS without power cut, and explains principles and field applications of this method.

Electrical stress suffered by medium voltage medium frequency transformer

Medium voltage medium frequency transformers may face electrical stress different from that of conventional transformers. Working under PWM-like voltages, inter-turn and inter-layer overvoltage could be induced within the transformer's winding. This overvoltage can increase the probability of partial discharge that can degrade the insulation quickly and lead to premature breakdown. Therefore, an investigation on the electrical stress of medium-frequency transformer is necessary. This paper chooses a transformer prototype as a case and creates its equivalent circuit. Based on this circuit, transient inter-turn and inter-layer voltage simulation is conducted under different voltage rise times, relative insulation permittivity and winding structures. The simulation results confirm the existence of interturn and inter-layer overvoltage and reveal the influence of the above-mentioned parameters on the overvoltage.

Constant output frequency control method for three-phase-to-single-phase matrix converter system with neutral line

In the micro-grid, renewable energy is used as power generations and source voltage fluctuated. So we proposed to use Matrix Converters (MCs) which have voltage control ability instead of transformers to supply a certain amount of power for the consumer sides [1]. To suppress the fluctuation of the amplitude of the source voltage, we had proposed a load voltage control method for the MCs [2] [3]. And a PLL has been used to suppress the fluctuation of the source frequency.[4]-[7] However, PLL uses a PI control and time delay occurred. To improve the quality of the load voltages, an instantaneous control method is needed. In this paper, we proposed a constant output frequency control method which doesn't cause any time delay by taking advantage of the control function of our MCs and verified the effectiveness by simulations and experiments.

All Digital DC/DC Converters on FPGA

The FPGA can realize a more optimized digital controller in DC/DC converters when compare to DSPs. Based on the FPGA platform, The theoretical analysis, characteristics, simulation and design consideration are given. The methods to implement the digital DC/DC converters have been researched. The function module, state machine of digital DC/DC controller and high resolution DPWM with sigma-delta dither has been introduced. They are verified by experiments on a 20 W, 300 KHz non-isolated synchronous buck converters, the performance can fullfil the requirements totally.
