The tremendous progress on qubits and quantum logic circuits made recently with superconducting circuits, as indicated by the four papers above, arises largely from three simple facts:
This paper is aimed at solving the nonlinear time-fractional partial differential equation with two small parameters arising from option pricing model in financial economics. The traditional reproducing kernel (RK) method which deals with this problem is very troublesome. This paper proposes a new method by adaptive multi-step piecewise interpolation reproducing kernel (AMPIRK) method for the first time. This method has three obvious advantages which are as follows. Firstly, the piecewise number is reduced. Secondly, the calculation accuracy is improved. Finally, the waste time caused by too many fragments is avoided. Then four numerical examples show that this new method has a higher precision and it is a more timesaving numerical method than the others. The research in this paper provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving time-fractional option pricing model which will play an important role in financial economics.
Objective To assess the in vitro inhibitory effect of meropenem(MEM) in combination with etimicin(ETM) or ciprofloxacin(CIP) on clinically isolated multiple drug resistant pseudomonas aeruginosa(MDRP) strains. Methods The minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) of MEM in combination with ETM or CIP for 38 clinically isolated MDRP strains was measured with agar plate dilution method. The fractional inhibitory concentration(FIC)index of MEM in combination with ETM or CIP for the 38 MDRP strains was calculated. Results The synergic effect and additive effect of MEM in combination with ETM on MDRP strains was 63.2% and 36.8%,respectively,with no unrelated and antagonistic effect. The synergic effect, additive effect, and unrelated effect of in combination with CIP on MDRP strains was 73.5%,21.2% and 5.3%,respectively,with no antagonistic effect. The MIC50 and MIC90 of such drugs used in combination decreased significantly with their concentration-accumulative curves shifted to the left. Conclusion MEM in combination with ETM or CIP shows its in vitro inhibitory effect as synergic and additive effect on MDRP strains.
Objective: This study was designed to get epidemiological characteristics, etiology characteristics, prognosis assessment and prognostic factors of hospital-acquired bloodstream infection (HABSI) in the elderly in Chinese PLA General Hospital and aimed at providing a reference for HABSI in the elderly on clinical diagnosis and treatment to improve the prognosis. Methods: The clinical data and pathology data of 210 cases of the elderly patients with HABSI from 2009 to 2012 in geriatric wards were retrospectively analyzed. Compare the clinical assessment effects of APACHE-II score, SAPS-II score and SOFA score to HABSI prognosis in the elderly by plotting the receiver operating characteristic curve. Use univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis to get prognostic factors of HABSI in the elderly. Results: Univariate analysis of mortality: Day 1 apache -> 18 II score, lung infection, invasive ventilation, chronic hepatic insufficiency, chronic renal insufficiency, substantive organ malignant tumor, deep venipuncture, indwelling gastric tube indwelling ureter, complicated with shock and acquired bloodstream infections in the elderly patients with 7 days survival state association is significant. Day-1 SOFA score>7, chronic liver dysfunction, chronic renal insufficiency, concurrent shock, hemodialysis and 28-day survival status of patients with acquired bloodstream infection in elderly hospitals were significantly associated. Multivariate unconditioned logistic regression analysis related to death: Day-1APACHE-II score>18, parenchymal malignant tumors, and concurrent shock are independent risk factors for 7-day death in elderly patients with acquired bloodstream infection. Day-1 SOFA score>7, chronic renal insufficiency, and concurrent shock are independent risk factors for 28-day mortality in elderly patients with acquired bloodstream infection. Conclusion: The incidence of acquired bloodstream infections in the elderly was 1.37%. The 7-day and 28-day mortality rates were 8.10% and 22.38%, respectively. Concurrent shock is 26.7%. The 28-day mortality rate of concurrent shock patients was 48.21%. The best outcome score for the 7-day prognosis of elderly patients with acquired bloodstream infection was the Day-1APACHE-II score, followed by the Day-1 SOFA score. The best score for the 28-day prognostic assessment was the Day-1 SOFA score.
As obtaining flexible tactile sensors with high sensitivity, waterproofness and breathability at the same time is still a huge challenge, which limits their application in advanced fields such as human prosthetics and robotic arms. Herein, a fully flexible piezoelectric tactile sensor with high-performance, energy-efficient, waterproof, and breathable was constructed by capacitive coupling the β-PVDF nanofiber membrane (NM) with electro-mechanical conversion function and organic field effect transistor (OFET) device with signal amplification function. The inherent waterproofed β-phase PVDF NM was fabricated by advanced electrospinning process, such morphology with thousands of micropores not only gives the device excellent breathability, but also increases the deformation tolerance and accelerates the respond/recovery time, so that the obtained device can be bent at will without affecting its performance. At the same time, under the guidance of piezoelectric effect, the charge generated by PVDF membrane based on piezotronics effect polarization was sufficient to drive the OFET device, the as-fabricated sensor shows great sensing performance in monitoring human physiological signals without applying a gate voltage. Such device exhibits excellent pressure sensitivity, detection limit, and response time of 7.94 KPa-1, 48.54 Pa and 105 ms, respectively, which may become promising device in smart electronic skins, human motion detection, and human−machine interaction.
This paper presents the concept of three-parameter interval grey linguistic variable, which combines three-parameter interval grey numbers with grey linguistic variables. Firstly, basic definitions and new laws are given. Secondly, considering the attributes interdependency, this paper utilises the fuzzy integral theory to construct a grey fuzzy integral correlation degree decision-making model under three-parameter interval grey linguistic variable environment. To solve this model, the Mobius transformation coefficients based on weights and interaction degrees are defined to calculate two-order additive fuzzy measures. Then the maximum projection models are used to calculate the weights, and the interaction relations and interaction degrees are determined by decision makers. Subsequently, the grey fuzzy integral correlation degrees of alternatives are calculated by precise function transformation, grey correlation degree and fuzzy measures. At last, an illustrative example has been taken to demonstrate the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.
The study aimed to identify the potential biomarkers in pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) and TB latent infection based on bioinformatics analysis. The microarray data of GSE57736 were downloaded from Gene Expression Omnibus database. A total of 7 pulmonary TB and 8 latent infection samples were used to identify the differentially expressed genes (DEGs). The protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed by Cytoscape software. Then network-based neighborhood scoring analysis was performed to identify the important genes. Furthermore, the functional enrichment analysis, correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis for the identified important genes were performed.A total of 1084 DEGs were identified, including 565 down- and 519 up-regulated genes. The PPI network was constructed with 446 nodes and 768 edges. Down-regulated genes RIC8 guanine nucleotide exchange factor A (RIC8A), basic leucine zipper transcription factor, ATF-like (BATF) and microtubule associated monooxygenase, calponin LIM domain containing 1 (MICAL1) and up-regulated genes ATPase, Na+/K+ transporting, alpha 4 polypeptide (ATP1A4), histone cluster 1, H3c (HIST1H3C), histone cluster 2, H3d (HIST2H3D), histone cluster 1, H3e (HIST1H3E) and tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2) were selected as important genes in network-based neighborhood scoring analysis. The functional enrichment analysis results showed that these important DEGs were mainly enriched in regulation of osteoblast differentiation and nucleoside triphosphate biosynthetic process. The gene pairs RIC8A-ATP1A4, HIST1H3C-HIST2H3D, HIST1H3E-BATF and MICAL1-TYK2 were identified with high positive correlations. Besides, these genes were selected as significant feature genes in logistic regression analysis. The genes such as RIC8A, ATP1A4, HIST1H3C, HIST2H3D, HIST1H3E, BATF, MICAL1 and TYK2 may be potential biomarkers in pulmonary TB or TB latent infection.
