BSA-loaded microcapsules were prepared by combining Shirasu Porous Glass(SPG) membrane emulsification technique and multiple emulsion-solvent evaporation method with poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA) as the carrier material. The effect of press, stirrer speed and solidification time on encapsulation efficiency and the release behavior of BSA-loaded microcapsules were investigated. It was demonstrated that the encapsulation efficiency reduced when press was increased, when stirrer speed was more than 200rpm,the encapsulation efficiency also reduced by the increase of stirrer speed, and the encapsulation efficiency was the highest when solidification time was 5h.Initial release was lower when microcapsules were prepared by SPG membrane emulsification technique, and the total release achieved 80% in a month.
In this paper, modified polysulfone was used as a raw material.Different concentration of TiO2 was added into sulfonated polysulfone.Through sol-gel method with TiO2 to organic/inorganic hybrid,TiO2 and sulfonated polysulfone hybrid membrane was produced after a series of treatment.Through the water contact angle of the membrane, water flux, rejection and mechanical strength tests,it was found that when the TiO2 content below 3%,it helped to improve the hydrophilic membrane and mechanical strength without influencing the retention rate of membranes and increase the flux rate of the membrane. These improvements made the membrane had a very good contamination resistance. But with particle amount increasing, agglomeration would happen which leading to decreasing of the hybrid membrane performance.
