The present study summaries the extraction and analysis of pyrolysed oil derived from waste plastic.The current rate of economic growth is unsustainable without saving of fossil fuels like crude oil, natural gas, coal etc.There has always been an increase in demand for fossil fuels while at the same time a depletion in its amount.Development and modernization have brought about a huge increase in the production of all kinds of commodities using plastics which indirectly generates waste.Plastics have wide range of applications due to versatility and relatively low cost.This project focuses on the importance and implementation of Waste to Energy technology by deriving pyrolysed oil from plastic.The plastic opted for experimentation is High Density Polyethylene due to its properties favoring the process of Pyrolysis.Pyrolysis is the process of thermal degradation of plastic in the absence of oxygen.An experimental setup in order to accomplish pyrolysis was fabricated and thus, the raw pyrolysis oil was extracted.The raw fuel derived was vacuum distilled to obtain the clear pyrolysed oil, whose analysis conducted in a Computer Integrated IC Engine test rig.The performance, efficiency and emission test of the distilled pyrolysed oil was experimentally calculated by blending with diesel at different blend ratios.

Carbon di oxide is the major contribution gas for greenhouse effect and global warming. Therefore the world is in an urge to control the emission of CO2. The main objective of this research is to reduce the emission of CO2 from the exhaust in the petrol engine. Three way catalytic converter has already been employed in reduction of harmful pollutants such as Hydrocarbons, NOx, CO that causes adverse effect in human being. The CO2 is left freely from the exhaust in the atmosphere, where major composition from the exhaust is occupied by nitrogen and carbon dioxide.Zeolites are micro porous, alumina silicate minerals commonly used as commercial adsorbents and catalysts. They may occur naturally but are also produced industrially on a large scale. The additional arrangement of zeolite 13x inside a wire mesh which is used as additional component next to the catalytic converter. This research focuses on bringing down the level of carbon dioxide through the new devise called “catalytic converter using zeolite13x” which reduces the pollution drastically by absorbing the carbon dioxide and putting it to good use in a constructive manner.So that the emission of CO2 can be controlled.

Friendly Course Equalizing Cloud Service using Education Cloud

This research aims at creating course equalization in a single cloud education portal. The existing course equalization process is done manually, which is not an efficient way and makes the task complicated. The prevailing technique is less accurate and a systematized storage is not available, as data are recorded and preserved by staffs of equalizing committee. Whereas, in this course equalizer software provides portal for information storage and retrieval whenever required. Being an education cloud storage its records can be easily accessed. In this pandemic situation, Education is made online. So difficulty arises in doing the transferring process manually for the students. So developing a course equalizer software provides a higher satisfaction for the transferring students and university staff. Students are enabled to know about their existing credits transfer and credits equivalencies, while transferring to other institutions. This cloud portal provides accurate course equalization service anytime and anywhere access. Similarly, the credit transfer for each course is done by examining the credit points given by the university. Credit transferring is a crucial task and it has many difficulties. The proposed work is done based on the algorithm Course Equalizer Based on HAIC search. Credits transfer plays a vital role in course waivers, where the students need not repeat the same courses completed at their previous institution. Courses may not always be the same at all institutions, thereby examining the core of courses becomes mandatory, which is difficult to get it done manually. Thus all these chaos can be resolved by upgrading us with this course equalizer software.

Synthesis of Novel Thiazole Derivatives as Analgesic Agents

Thiazoles have a long history of having number of pharmacological activities such as anti-microbial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. Pyrazoles shows promising anti-microbial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. In the present study, novel thiazoles (8a – 8j) were synthesized by incorporation of pyrazole moiety at 2nd position of 2-hydrazinyl-N-(4-phenylthiazol-2-yl) acetamide (5) by treating with chalcones (7a-7j). The chemical structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by means of IR, 1H-NMR, Mass spectral and Elemental analysis. All the spectral data were consistent with the assigned structure. The synthesized compounds were investigated for analgesic activity by tail immersion method in mice. All the synthesized compounds exhibited mild to good analgesic activities. Among the synthesized compounds, 2-(5-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)-3-phenyl-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)-N-(4-phenylthiazol-2-yl)acetamide (8c) and 2-(5-(4-methylphenyl)-3-phenyl-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)-N-(4-phenylthiazol-2-yl) acetamide (8e) exhibited highest analgesic activity.

Low-Level Determination of Residual 4-Bromo Methyl-2'-Cyanobiphenyl in Valsartan by Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

A Liquid chromatographic (LC) method using mass spectrometric (MS) detection was developed and validated for the trace analysis (ppm level) of 4-Bromo methyl- 2′-Cyanobiphenyl in Valsartan drug substances. LC analysis of 4-Bromo methyl- 2′-Cyanobiphenyl was done on Necleosil C18 (100 mm x 4.6 mm, 3 μm) column and the mobile phase is in the ratio of 50:50:1 containing water, acetonitrile, and acetic acid. The flow rate was 1.0 mL min−1 and the elution was monitored at 225 nm. The method was validated as per International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines. LC-MS is able to quantitate up to 1.0 ppm of 4-Bromo methyl- 2′-cyanobiphenyl.

A Validated Simple UV Spectrophotometric Method for the Estimation of Alosetron Hydrochloride in Bulk and Pharmaceutical Dosage Form

A simple, accurate, rapid and sensitive UV spectrophotometric method has been developed for the estimation of Alosetron hydrochloride (AST) in bulk as well as in Pharmaceutical dosage forms. Alosetron hydrochloride is used as anti-diarrhoeal agent. It is available in the market in tablet dosage forms with strength 0.5mg and 1mg. The present research work involves the estimation of Alosetron hydrochloride using double distilled water as solvent. An absorption maximum (λ max) was found to be 218 nm. It obeys the beer's law in the concentration range of 2–10 μg/ml with a correlation coefficient value of 0.9994. Validation of the method has been carried out statistically as per ICH guidelines and the results were found to be satisfactory. The result of mean % recovery was found to be 100.28 + 0.69% for Alosetron hydrochloride which shows that the method was not affected by the presence of common excipients in tablet dosage form. The % RSD for both inter-day and intra-day precision was found to be less than 2%. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) was found to be 0.1015 μg/mL and 0.3078 μg/mL. The method was validated by determining its sensitivity, linearity, accuracy and precision which proves suitability of the developed method for the routine quality control analysis for the estimation of Alosetron hydrochloride in bulk and tablet dosage form.

Anticonvulsant Activity of Novel 1‐(Substituted Benzylidene)‐4‐(1‐(Morpholino/Piperidino Methyl)‐2,3‐Dioxoindolin‐5‐yl) Semicarbazide Derivatives in Mice and Rats Acute Seizure Models

A series of novel 1‐(substituted benzylidene)‐4‐(1‐(morpholino/piperidino methyl)‐2,3‐dioxoindolin‐5‐yl) semicarbazides 6a–6t was designed and synthesized on the basis of semicarbazide‐based pharmacophoric model to meet the structural requirements necessary for anticonvulsant activity. The compounds were subjected to in vivo antiepileptic evaluation using maximal electroshock test and subcutaneous pentylenetetrazole seizure test methods. The neurotoxicity was determined by rotorod test. In the preliminary screening, compounds 6c, 6d, 6g, 6h, and 6m were found active in maximal electroshock test model, while 6g, 6i, 6m, and 6o showed significant antiepileptic activity in subcutaneous pentylenetetrazole seizure test model. Further, the compounds 6c, 6d, 6g, 6h, 6i, and 6m were administered orally to rats, of which 6c and 6g showed better activity than phenytoin. Among the synthesized compounds, 6g revealed excellent protection in both models with lower neurotoxicity.
