Study of RSA used in DEM information disguising

DEM is the key protective resource for data-using departments because of its important military and economic value. This paper gives a specific method for the RSA used in DEM information disguising according to the principle of the RSA algorithm and the characteristics of DEM, and solves the various problems that may occur in the disguising process. Then, this paper analyses the relationship between the elements and impact effect, and makes the security analysis through experiments. This method has a good safety performance, and could provide strong technical support for storage and transmission of DEM data.

A new deceptive jamming method for SAR based on false moving targets

In SAR/GMTI, static jamming such as noise and deceptive scene will be eliminated as clutter, and will make no sense. In this paper, a deceptive jamming method for SAR is lucubrated to protect military moving targets. For false moving targets (FMT) consisting of many scattering centers, we propose an improved way to generate false signals. Through separating the response function of false signals into range-related and azimuth-related parts, the new method can reduce the algorithm complexity effectively. Moreover, the factors which will affect the jamming efficiency are analyzed. Simulation results show that the new method is effective to SAR/GMTI and the conclusions are valid.

Fahr's disease linked to a novel mutation in MYORG variants manifesting as paroxysmal limb stiffness and dysarthria: Case report and literature review

Primary familial brain calcification (PFBC) is a rare hereditary neurodegenerative disorder associated with the MYORG gene; however, the clinical and radiological characteristics of MYORG-PFBC remain unclear.We present relevant medical data obtained from a patient affected by PFBC with a novel MYORG variant and conducted a mutational analysis of MYORG in her family members. We reviewed all reported PFBC cases with biallelic MYORG mutations until April 1, 2023, and summarized the associated clinical and radiological features and mutation sites.The patient (22-year-old woman) exhibited paroxysmal limb stiffness and dysarthria for 3 years. Computed tomography revealed calcifications in the paraventricular white matter, basal ganglia, thalamus, and cerebellum. Whole-exome sequencing revealed a novel homozygous frameshift variant (c.743delG: p.G248Afs*32) in exon 2 of the MYORG gene (NM_020702.5). To date, 62 families and 64 mutation sites have been reported. Among the reported biallelic MYORG mutations, 57% were homozygous and 43% were compound heterozygous. Individuals with biallelic MYORG mutations experience more severe brain calcification with approximately 100% clinical penetrance. Ten single heterozygous mutation sites are associated with significant brain calcifications.All patients with primary brain calcification, particularly younger patients without a family history of the disease, should be screened for MYORG mutations.

Investigation of Heat Transfer and Flow Characteristics in Heat Exchanger With Microscale Channels

The experimental study of heat transfer and flow characteristics are conducted for water and ethylene-glycol solution flowing in the heat exchanger with rectangular or triangular microscale channels, which have equivalent diameter of 0.55mm, 0.91mm, 1.38mm and 5mm. During experiments, the Reynolds number ranges from 300 to 2500. The experimental results show that: at a fixed Reynolds number, the Nusselt number increases along with increasing equivalent diameter, the Nusselt number for ethylene-glycol solution with larger Prandtl number is greater than that for water, the geometrical configuration of the microscale channels have a significant effect on the heat transfer; the flow friction factors of microscale channels are smaller than that of normal channels, flow characteristics of rectangular channels are evidently better than that of triangular, the flow friction factor decreases with increasing Reynolds number, the experiment also show that the flow friction factor is independent of Prandtl number; The critical Reynolds number at which the flow transiting to turbulent flow is 700∼1200.

Revisiting Mg–Mg2Ni System from Electronic Perspective

Both Mg and Mg2Ni are promising electrode materials in conversion-type secondary batteries. Earlier studies have shown their single-phase prospects in electro-devices, while in this work, we have quantitatively reported the electronic properties of their dual-phase materials, that is, Mg–Mg2Ni alloys, and analyzed the underlying reasons behind the property changes of materials. The hypoeutectic Mg–Mg2Ni alloys are found to be evidently more conductive than the hypereutectic Mg–Mg2Ni system. The density functional theory (DFT) calculations give the intrinsic origin of electronic structures of both Mg2Ni and Mg. The morphology of quasi-nanoscale eutectics is another factor that can affect the electronic properties of the investigated alloy system; that is, the electrical property change of the investigated alloys system is due to a combination of the intrinsic property difference between the two constituting phases and the change of eutectic microstructures that affect electron scattering. In addition, regarding the Mg–Mg2Ni alloy design for device applications, the electronic property and mechanical aspect should be well balanced.

Radar imaging based on compressed sensing by random convolution

Compressed Sensing (CS) theory provides great possibilities for resolving problems associated with traditional high resolution radar, such as high sampling rate, too many data and difficulties of real time processing. Sensing by random convolution is a universally efficient data acquisition strategy and easy to realize. This paper focuses on radar imaging technique based on CS by random convolution, researches into several different random downsampling strategies. Experiments from simulated data and real data verify the validity of the proposed imaging method, also the influences of SNR and downsampling strategy on imaging performance are analyzed and compared. Finally the problems need further research are pointed out.

Deception jamming method for ISAR based on sub-Nyquist sampling technology

Fast sampling of wideband RF signal and real time processing of vast data are great difficulties in the engineering implementation of deception jamming to ISAR. This paper proposes a sort of Sub-Nyquist Sampling-Based Method for Jamming ISAR Systems. First introduces the deception jamming technique based on false target for ISAR. Then investigates the jamming principle of sub-Nyquist sampling modulation. Through modulating false target information on radar signals intercepted by sub-Nyquist sampling, the resulting signal can produce a train of vivid false targets. The proposed method can greatly reduce the demands on sampling rate and processing speed, its jamming performance is analyzed in detail and verified by simulation experiments. The conclusions here have certain significance to the manufacture of ISAR jammer in practical engineering.

Novel imaging methods of stepped frequency radar based on compressed sensing

The theory of compressed sensing (CS) provides a new chance to reduce the data acquisition time and improve the data usage factor of the stepped frequency radar system. In light of the sparsity of radar target reflectivity, two imaging methods based on CS, termed the CS-based 2D joint imaging algorithm and the CS-based 2D decoupled imaging algorithm, are proposed. These methods incorporate the coherent mixing operation into the sparse dictionary, and take random measurements in both range and azimuth directions to get high resolution radar images, thus can remarkably reduce the data rate and simplify the hardware design of the radar system while maintaining imaging quality. Experiments from both simulated data and measured data in the anechoic chamber show that the proposed imaging methods can get more focused images than the traditional fast Fourier transform method. Wherein the joint algorithm has stronger robustness and can provide clearer inverse synthetic aperture radar images, while the decoupled algorithm is computationally more efficient but has slightly degraded imaging quality, which can be improved by increasing measurements or using a robuster recovery algorithm nevertheless.

Compressive Radar Imaging Methods Based on Fast Smoothed L0 Algorithm

One of the problems that radar imaging technique based on compressed sensing (CS) must confront is the relatively high computation complexity. The sparse representation model of stepped frequency radar echo is established and a 2D joint imaging method based on 2D-SL0 is proposed, which makes the best of the 2D separability of sparse dictionary and compressive measurement, thus has greatly improved efficiency. The performance of CS imaging methods, including SL0, 2D-SL0 under 2D joint model and iterative SL0, MSL0 under 2D decoupled model, are analyzed and compared theoretically. Experiment results verify the validity and superiority of the proposed method.
