Objective
To investigate the clinical value of C-reactive protein (CRP) combined with prothrombin time (PT) and partially activated thromboplastin time (APTT) in the diagnosis of neonatal late-onset sepsis.
Methods
From January 2013 to January 2018, 100 neonates with sepsis admitted to our department of neonatology in Lishui Maternal and Child Health-Care Center were collected.According to the
results
of blood culture, neonates with positive blood culture were classified as sepsis group A (53 cases), and neonates with negative blood culture were classified as sepsis group B (47 cases). Another 50 normal newborns born at the same period were included in the control group. The CRP, PT and APTT values of the three groups were detected and compared. The receiver-operating characteristic curves (ROC) were plotted to obtain the area under ROC curve (AUC) and the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value.Another ROC curve was plotted to obtain the area under ROC curve (AUC) and the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value for a new variable, CPR+ PT+ APTT, which was established using a binomial logistic regression method. Results The results of CPR, PT and APTT in the control group, sepsis group A and sepsis group B all increased in turn (F=10.616, 6.155, 5.243, P=0.000, 0.000, 0.000). CPR+ PT+ APTT had the largest AUC (0.94), the highest sensitivity (93.42%), the highest specificity (91.66%), the highest positive predictive value (92.60%), and the highest negative predictive value (78.55%) in the four indicators.
Conclusion
When blood culture fails to diagnose late-onset neonatal sepsis, combined detection of CPR+ PT+ APTT can provide some clues for its early diagnosis, which is worthy of clinical attention.

Objective
To evaluate the short-term efficacy and long-term efficacy of thoracic radiotherapy combined with gefitinib in the treatment of elderly patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
Methods
From October 2012 to October 2015, 120 elderly patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer confirmed by histopathology as adenocarcinoma in the Third People's Hospital of Linyi were selected.Using envelope method, the patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 60 cases in each group. In the observation group, IMRT was performed on pulmonary lesions, and 125 mg of gefitinib was also given orally. The control group received IMRT.All patients were followed up, and the short-term efficacy, quality of life and the incidence of side effects in the two groups were observed.
Results
In terms of short-term efficacy, the RR of the observation group and the control group was 83.3% vs.50.0%(χ2=9.16, P=0.001), the disease control rate (DCR) of the observation group and the control group was 100.0% vs.83.3%(χ2=6.48, P=0.003), the PD of the observation group and the control group was 16.7% vs.0.0%(χ2=8.16, P=0.001). At 3 months after radiotherapy, the RR, DCR and PD of the observation group and the control group were 86.7% vs.50.0%(χ2=9.86, P=0.001), 100.0% vs.76.7%(χ2=7.42, P=0.003), 23.3% vs.0.0%(χ2=11.24, P=0.000). One year after radiotherapy, the RR of the observation group and the control group was 73.3% vs.33.3%(χ2=11.16, P=0.000), the DCR of the observation group and the control group was 54.0% vs.60.0%(χ2=8.48, P=0.001), the PD of the observation group and the control group was 10.0% vs.40.0%(χ2=9.48, P=0.001). There was statistically significant difference between the two groups(P 0.05).
Conclusion

Abstract The spindle runout of unit 2 in a hydropower plant seriously exceeded the standard during the startup test, and its main frequency was consistent with the conversion frequency, which did not meet the startup test acceptance specification. Through the analysis of the variable speed test data of the unit, it is judged that the reason for the excessive runout is the mass imbalance of the generator rotor, which affects the vibration of the shafting and the frame. A dynamic balance test analysis method is proposed to determine the counterweight weight and orientation, which is the same centrifugal force with the equivalent in the state. In this method, the weight of the trial counterweight and the total unbalanced mass is calculated by using the trial counterweight empirical formula and dynamic balance equation respectively, and the second counterweight test is carried out after calculation. Through the application in unit 2 of the power plant, the serious problem of excessive runout of the unit can be completely solved. The analysis method of the rotor dynamic unbalance test for large hydropower units proposed in this paper can provide a technical reference for similar problems.
Numerous microRNAs (miRs) are dysregulated in non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), serving pivotal roles in its formation and progression. miR‑625 is dysregulated in several types of human cancer, but its involvement in the formation and development of NSCLC remains poorly understood. In the present study, we aimed to investigate miR‑625 expression in NSCLC and its role in regulating NSCLC cell behavior. miR‑625 expression in NSCLC tissues and cell lines was detected using reverse transcription‑quantitative polymerase chain reaction. The effects of miR‑625 overexpression on NSCLC cell proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion in vitro were assessed using an MTT assay, flow cytometry, and cell migration and invasion assays, respectively. The effects of miR‑625 upregulation on NSCLC growth were evaluated in an in vivo xenograft model. The molecular mechanisms underlying the tumor‑suppressing roles of miR‑625 in NSCLC were explored in detail. miR‑625 expression was determined to be downregulated in NSCLC tissues and cell lines. This decreased expression was associated with advanced clinical features and poor overall survival of patients with NSCLC. Exogenous miR‑625 expression suppressed NSCLC cell proliferation, migration and invasion, and induced apoptosis in vitro. miR‑625 upregulation hindered NSCLC tumor growth in vivo. Homeobox B5 (HOXB5) was proposed to be the direct target gene of miR‑625 in NSCLC cells. The tumor‑suppressing effects of HOXB5 silencing were similar to those of miR‑625 overexpression in NSCLC cells. In rescue experiments, HOXB5 overexpression partially reversed the inhibitory effects of miR‑625 in NSCLC cells. miR‑625 upregulation directly targeted HOXB5 to deactivate the Wnt/β‑catenin signaling pathway in NSCLC cells in vitro and in vivo. miR‑625 was determined to be associated with HOXB5 suppression and Wnt/β‑catenin pathway deactivation, which in turn inhibited the aggressive behavior of NSCLC cells in vitro and in vivo.
Although rare, intraneural hemangiomas should be considered in the differential diagnosis of peripheral nerve lesions. We report on a 59-year-old female patient, who was admitted to the hospital due to the discovery of bilateral breast masses for 3 months, there was no paresthesia or dyskinesia. The patient accidentally found a mass in the right upper mediastinum while completing a plain chest X-ray, initially suspected as a benign neurilemmoma on CT. Surgical resection and pathological analysis confirmed an intraneural hemangioma. Unexpectedly, the patient developed new-onset right upper limb numbness and paresthesia 3 months post-operatively, probably related to surgical nerve injury. This case underscores the importance of maintaining a broad differential for mediastinal masses, and the potential for iatrogenic neurological complications when managing these rare, yet vascular lesions.
Abstract A SA-213TP437H high temperature superheater tube burst in a power plant. In this paper, combined with it’s runtime environment, macro examination, metallographic examination, electron microscope observation and micro area composition analysis were used to analyze the failure reason of the sample tube. The results show that: Due to the fine grain size of superheater tube, a large number of σ brittle phase are precipitated in the metallographic structure in lower temperature. During long-term running, the tube was affected form low cycle fatigue cracking by temperature stress coursed by the load change of generator set, start and stop and so on., which is a long-term over temperature tube burst. Although it is an example of misuse of ultra-fine grain steel pipe, it is recommend that the power plants should conduct spot-check of grain size for other SA-213TP437H high temperature superheater tube, and eliminate similar dangers of superheater tube burst.
Magic has survived for a long time among the Sharen, a branch of the Zhuang ethnic group. It is often assumed that, with the development of science and technology, magic gradually fades out from social life and may even disappear. However, magic still has a deep influence on the thinking and behaviour of local people among the Sharen living in Babao Township of the Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. Therefore, this article focuses on Sharen rites and beliefs, to reveal reasons why magic can survive in modern society. Based on historical data, we find that magic has been changing alongside social transformations. It can cater to the needs of local society and human understanding, as well as coordinate the relationships between mankind and nature, and between human beings themselves, and can even alleviate human tensions by dealing with the relationship between humanity and either ghosts or gods. There is no doubt that magic has a negative influence, but to a certain extent it can help maintain the local social order. That is why up to the present, magic has remained an indispensable part of social culture among the Sharen of Babao Township.
Lysine lactylation (Kla) has recently been reported to participate in regulating transcription in human cells. However, the characterization, regulatory mechanism and functional consequence of Kla in prokaryotes remain unclear. Here, we report that YiaC functions as a lysine lactylase and that CobB serves as a lysine delactylase in the regulation of metabolism. We demonstrate that YiaC catalyzes the addition of Kla, while CobB erases this PTM both in vitro and intracellularly. Moreover, we show that YdiF can catalyze the formation of a lactyl-coenzyme A, which donates lactyl group for Kla. Quantitative proteomic analysis further reveals 446 endogenous Kla sites targeted by CobB and 79 candidates targeted by YiaC in Escherichia coli (E. coli). Furthermore, we present that Kla can influence the functions of metabolic enzymes. Interestingly, we demonstrate that CobB can specifically modulate the activity of PykF by regulating K382la, promoting glycolysis and bacterial growth. Our study identifies the regulatory enzymes and functional network of Kla and reveals a Kla-mediated molecular mechanism catalyzed by CobB for glycolysis regulation in E. coli.
