A copper-catalyzed N-N bond-forming reaction was performed by a dehydrogenative homocoupling of N-alkylanilines, affording N,N′-dialkyl-N,N′-diphenylhydrazines in 72-88% yields. This new strategy has the advantages of direct synthesis from N-alkylanilines, using air as the oxidant, convenient manipulations, mild reaction conditions and moderate to good yields. A possible mechanism by coordination and reductive elimination has been proposed.
To investigate high risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) prevalence among married women in Beijing and to study the high risk factors.During March 2007 to September 2008, a total of 6185 married women sampled from 137 communities in 12 districts were screened by HR-HPV DNA test and cytological test. The interview was carried out with unified questionnaires. The database was set up and twice entered in EpiData 3.0. After checked up, the data were analyzed in SPSS 15.0.(1) The HR-HPV infection rate was 9.89%. The HR-HPV infection rate of the city zone, the suburb and the exurb were 9.34%, 10.51% and 9.51% (P > 0.05). The HR-HPV infection rate of the native and the outlander were 9.53%, 11.30% (P < 0.05). (2) The age distribution of HR-HPV infection was that the rate was around 10% among 25 to 44 age groups, which was the highest (11.21%) in 30 to 34 age group; then the rate was descended as the age raising, the rate of 50 to 54 age group was the lowest (7.78%). (3) Multiple logistic regression showed that the related risk factors of HR-HPV infection mainly included 1000 RMB and above of family income per person per month, possessing more than 1 sexual partner of her husband, outlander and high levels of education. (4) The prevalence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) in HR-HPV positive group was significantly higher than that in HR-HPV negative group (29.76% vs 3.32%, P < 0.01).(1) The HR-HPV infection rate among aged 25 to 54 years was 9.9% and there was no significant difference in area distribution. (2) The high risk population which should strengthen screening was the married bearing-age women with high level of family income, outlander, high levels of education and her husband possessing more than 1 sexual partner. (3) HR-HPV infection is the main risk factor for CIN and cervical cancer, while does not provide a causal relationship with them. The high risk population should be checked regularly to understand the development of HR-HPV infection and CIN incidence.
A practical, efficient Pd(OAc) 2 /Cu(II)/PPh 3 cocatalytic system has been developed.With only 1 mol% Pd(OAc) 2 , 20 mol% copper(II) salt, and 0.5 equiv of inexpensive PPh 3 as ligand, the direct arylation of benzoazoles with aryl bromides could be performed smoothly in mild condition, affording the desired arylated benzoazoles in good yields (75-93%).Arylated azoles are ubiquitous in natural products and pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals. 1 The transition-metal catalyzed direct arylation of azoles is a powerful strategy for the synthesis of arylated azoles, and has recently received much attentions. 2In this rapidly growing field, the direct cross-coupling between azoles and aryl halides is a main protocol. 2As one of the most common arylated azoles, arylated benzoazoles have many biologically important activities. 3In most cases, the direct arylation of benzoazoles catalyzed by transition-metal required more reactive aryl iodides as arylating reagents.2b-d The direct arylation of benzoazoles using aryl bromides, which are cheaper and more commonly used than aryl iodides, did not studied so widely as that using aryl iodides. 4,5In 2005, Alagille et al disclosed a Pd(OAc) 2 /Cu(I)Br/P(t-Bu) 3 cocatalytic system for the direct arylation of benzoazoles with aryl bromides, affording arylated benzoazoles in 8-84% yields.5a Very recently, Huang et al 5b developed an arylation of benzoazoles with aryl bromides by a palladium-copper cocatalytic system, which employed a complicated cocatalytic system: dichlorobis(chloro-di-tert-butylphosphine)/Cu(Xantphos)I.Herein we wish to report our recent work on the efficient arylation of benzoazoles with aryl bromides by a practical Pd(OAc) 2 /Cu(II)/PPh 3 cocatalytic system.
【Objective】The aim of this study was to identify the causal mutation determining susceptibility to diarrhoea and oedema disease in piglets of Chinese indigenous pig breeds.【Method】In the present study,comparative sequencing was used to identify single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in a positional candidate gene: a1-fucosyltransferase gene(FUT1).The identified SNPs were genotyped by PCR-SSCP in 10 western commercial and Chinese indigenous breeds.The ECF18 adhesion phenotypes were determined in a total of 457 adult pigs from a White Duroc × Erhualian intercross by an in vitro microscopic adhesion assay.The association of the SNP genotypes with in vitro ECF18 adhesion phenotypes was evaluated by SAS software.【Result】Two cSNPs(M229C/T and M714T/C) were identified in the FUT1 gene.M714T/C was a synonymous mutation while M229C/T was a missense mutation leading to a transition of leucine into phenylalanine.Significant difference in allele frequencies of M229C/Twas observed between Chinese indigenous and western commercial pig breeds,but not among Chinese local breeds.The association analysis showed that the M229T/C genotypes had significant association with ECF18 adhesion phenotypes.【Conclusion】The results indicated that M229T/C might be the causal mutation or in linkage disequilibrium with the causative variant determining susceptibility/resistance to ECF18.

Abstract The new protocol allows for the efficient arylation of benzooxazoles, ‐thiazoles and ‐imidazoles (I) with various aryl bromides (II) as coupling partners.
Seven new derivatives of Ebselen were designed and synthesized,Their structures were characterized by IR,~1H-NMR and Elementary Analysis and their biological activities are being tested.
