Effect of Cold Rolled-Batch Annealed on Texture and Properties of Low Carbon Strip Steel Based on CSP

With the help of electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD ) and orientation distribution function (ODF) analysis, experiments of the different batch annealing Parameters were conducted to give an study of texture of Cold-rolling Low Carbon sheet steel based on CSP, and the relationship between initial isothermal temperature and drawing properties has been investigated. Cold-rolled sheet annealing process is nearing completion of recrystallization annealing has a strong favorable texture, and then cold-rolled sheet will help ensure isothermal conducive to further improve texture. The double step isothermal batch annealing process design, enabling access to a strong favorable texture and uniform pancake grains and higher drawing properties, and the proper temperature is the key control factor level.

Coupling Simulation of ICE Crankshaft System Dynamics and Dynamic Lubrication

The simulation model of crankshaft system dynamics and bearing oil film dynamic lubrication coupling for some V8 turbocharged diesel engine was built and was validated by experimental data.Through the coupling calculation,the torsional vibration angle displacement and resonance frequency of mass points and the bearing load,journal center loci,minimum film thickness,maximum oil film pressure and friction power loss parameters were acquired.The results show that the lubricity of the 5th main bearing(MB5) is the best and that of the 4th main bearing(MB4) is the worst.Compared with the simulation model without taking oil film dynamic lubrication into account,the new simulation model has more advantages.The torsional vibration angle displacement amplitude of engine free end reduces by 9% and the torsional vibration additional stress can decrease by 10.8% at the most.

EVOLUTION OF RECRYSTALLIZATION MICROSTRUCTURE AND TEXTURE IN LOW CARBON CSP STEEL DURING ANNEALING

Microstructure evolution and texture formation in low carbon CSP steel were observed by means of metallgraphic, TEM, and SEM equipped with electron back scattered diffraction (EBSD) system. The influence of large particles and fine carbonitrides precipitates on recrystallization and texture formation during the annealing procedure was analyzed with Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) technique in the steel. It was found that the fine precipitates present in the steel have shown ability to stimulate recrystallization nucleation and transformation during deformation, but hard to accelerate recrystallization growth because of grain boundary pinning effects in the steel. Compared with the conventional low carbon steel, the recrystallization texture and microstructure of the CSP steel show distinct character, and thus modify the mechanical behaviour of the final products.

Formation Mechanism of Austenite

Taking T 8 steel and other steels as an example,the process and mechanism of reverse eutectoid transformation of pearlite into austenite were comprehensively investigated.It was pointed out that the austenite is a solid solution formed by dessolving carbon or other chemical elements inγ-Fe.The austenite will nucleate in the ferrite/ cementite interface or either in the junction of pearlite fields or in the prior austenite grain boundary.Besides,the austenite will grow up in the form of bulk diffusion.In the course of nucleation and growth of austenite the ferrite and cementite will be simultaneously swallowed,or only the ferrite be swallowed,or ferrite be swallowed more quickly than the cementite.Consenquently,the reverse eutectoid transformation of pearlite will be performed,finally leaving a part of the cementite behind.In order to reduce accumulated distortion and strain energy resulting from the phase transformation,the growth direction of austenite will be adjusted,thus forming a twin.The undisolved carbides present in austenite are to be further dissolved and the austenite compostion is to be homogenized.

Effect of Pour Mode and Cooling Rate on Morphologies of Mg_2Si in AZ91-0.45Si Magnesium Alloy

Bottom gating system and top gating system were employed to study the effects of pouring mode and cooling rate on casting microstructure of the AZ91-0.45Si alloy by comparing the morphologies of Mg2Si. It was found that the Mg2Si phase in the alloy existed in two different morphologies, the blocky shape in the alloy of the bottom gating system and Chinese characters shape in the top gating system. The formation of Mg2Si was related with the cooling rates, the quiker the cooling rate, the bigger the super-cooling degree and solidification rate. For the alloy of top gating system, the cooling rate is relatively small; the Mg2Si phase had enough time to grow, so the Mg2Si phase in the alloy of top gating system was Chinese characters shape.
